College students & Young adults
“You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the next step.”
College and young adulthood are exciting but can also feel overwhelming. It can be hard to manage the emotional, relational, and practical challenges that come with this stage of life. Many clients seek support during and as they transition out of college, move toward independent living, or begin to question how their family relationships have shaped who they are and who they want to become.
I work with students and young adults who are navigating independence, major life transitions, and figuring out who they want to become. Feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, and comparison are common, especially when it seems like everyone else has life figured out. Whether you’re adjusting to living on your own, planning for the future, or rethinking family relationships, this stage can bring both opportunity and uncertainty.
Parts of our work may include:
Building practical coping tools for stress and anxiety, including DBT-informed skills
Examining long-standing family patterns
Developing clear and respectful boundaries
Strengthening emotional independence
Increase self-awareness and clarity around values
Helping clients make choices that align with what matters most to them
My goal is to help you develop confidence in your decisions, maturity in your relationships, and a grounded sense of identity as you move into adulthood.
